An industrial designer with a passion for cars, Paolo studies and graduate in industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano. In 2000-2001 he is an intern at the Fiat Group Advanced Design Centre in Arese (MI), where he developed a new concept for Lancia named Antithesis, making a 1:1 scale model of interior and exterior. Due to this result In 2002 he is hired by I.DE.A. Institute in Turin. In 2003 he signed the Fiat Panda Marraketch prototype, presented at Geneva International Motor Show of the same year. One year later he was hired by Fiat, designing for Lancia centro stile. In 2005 he is
back to Geneva International Motor Show, exhibiting his prototype Lancia Ypsilon Sport. In 2006 he starts working for Centro Stile Alfa Romeo, joining the team who designed the Mito. After such an achievement he decided to become a free-lance designer . In 2009 he resign from Fiat and found WOOG starting designing and building his own furniture collection, WOOG Design Buddies, presented at the “salone del mobile” of Milan. In 2010 he is called by Politecnico di Milano to teach “history and culture of Car Design” in the Car design master sponsored by Volkswagen group. In 2011 he is also appointed professor at Car Design laboratory at Scuola Politecnica di Design of Milano at the car design master sponsored by Volkswagen group. In 2012 he found Woog srl design studio with Andrea Partesana.
Designer and surface modeller. He graduated in 2002 in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan and then, inspired by his passion for cars and motorbikes, he started an internship at Centro Stile Alfa Romeo. In 2003 he was hired by the famous italian car manufacturer. During this period he took part in important projects such as Alfa 159 interiors and infotainment, Alfa 8c competizione 3d developing support for the instrument cluster and wheel rims, Alfa Mito’s design and 3d modelling of the entire alloy wheel range, and engine covers. In 2009 he moved to Centro Stile Fiat, Turin, where he
leads the developing of the entire range of abarth’s alloy wheels. After resigning he began working as freelance designer starting a collaboration with Brembo and the Milan based Studio Zucchi Design. In three years he leaded the design process of watches and luxury goods for clients such as Tudor, Bulgari, Graff watches, Tiffany, Jacob&co watches, Samsung and worked on a new design approach for Brembo’s motorbike brake systems. In 2013 he found Woog srl design studio with Paolo Granelli with the objective of designing 360° in the industrial and luxury design field.
